NOTICE OF SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITY

Bike Skills & Pump Track Project Date of Issue: May 25, 2026

The Town of Crossfield is pleased to announce the launch of sponsorship opportunities for the new Bike Skills & Pump Track Project; an exciting community recreation initiative designed to support active living, youth recreation, outdoor activity, and community connection.

Project design and preliminary construction activities for the project commenced in mid-May 2026, with sponsorship opportunities now available for businesses, organizations, and community members interested in becoming legacy founding supporters of the new amenity.

The Bike Skills & Pump Track Project is intended to create a welcoming, accessible, and family-friendly outdoor recreation space that encourages physical activity, skill development, and community engagement for residents and visitors of all ages.

A variety of sponsorship opportunities are available through the Town’s Sponsorship Program, including Naming Sponsor, Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Community Supporter opportunities. Sponsorship recognition includes permanent onsite recognition signage, website recognition, social media promotion, public acknowledgment during the official opening event, and other project-related promotional opportunities.

Organizations and individuals interested in sponsorship opportunities are encouraged
to review the Sponsorship Package and submit an Expression of Interest Form to the
Town of Crossfield.

Sponsorship opportunities will remain available until Friday, June 26, 2026.

2026-01-PD Land Use Bylaw Renewal
The Town of Crossfield is seeking proposals from qualified planning consultants to undertake a comprehensive review and renewal of the Town’s Land Use Bylaw, including associated Municipal Development Plan amendments and public engagement services. The project will support the Town’s long-term growth by developing a modern, user-friendly planning framework that reflects current legislation, community priorities, and Council’s vision for future development.

The Town's surplus (small equipment, office furniture, tools, vehicles, heavy equipment, etc.), is disposed of using a variety of methods, reducing the amount of equipment sent to the landfill.

The Town currently uses GovDeals, an online marketplace, for selling surplus items.

Additional methods of surplus disposal includes:

  • Sale to another municipality or government agency
  • Trade in towards replacement goods
  • Donation to a registered non-profit or charitable agency
  • Auction
